Collecting and using your personal data

Calculator Magic does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Every calculation happens on your own device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to see anything you type.

What the app keeps on your device

The app remembers your settings, your favorite calculators, the calculator you used last, the number in memory, a history of your recent calculations, any formulas you add to the Formula Library, and the date your free trial began. The health calculators use the measurements you type in only to work out the answer on screen. All of this stays on your device, and you can clear the history at any time in Settings.

The free trial and the unlock

Every calculator is free for 30 days; after that, one purchase unlocks them for good. The purchase is made through the store you got the app from (Google Play, the App Store or the Microsoft Store), which handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your name or payment details. The only time the app goes online is to ask that store for the price and whether the unlock has been bought.

Copying, pasting and sharing

When you copy an answer, paste a number, or copy one of your own formulas to share it, the app uses your device's clipboard, only when you ask it to. Sending a suggestion opens your own email app with a message for you to write and send yourself.

Permissions

On Android, the floating calculator needs permission to show over other apps, and Android shows a notification while it is floating. Calculator Magic does not use your location, camera, photos, contacts, calendar, or microphone, and it contains no advertising or tracking of any kind.

Children's Policy

We do not collect any data from anyone, especially any personal information from children.
